- all six seasons. The 5th season (where they kill-off Hercules sidekick) was the best. I think I need to buy this on DVD. |

(Like Massachusetts already does but this will apply to all americans.) Bastards. If this passes, I will refuse to pay. I don't have health insurance because I don't want it. I prefer to pay cash directly, just the same as I pay cash when my car needs repair or my teeth need dental work. They bill me; I pay. For these slick-suited shysters in D.C. to force me to buy insurance, or else be fined, is nothing more than slavery.
A pregnant woman has the right to kill a human fetus, but I don't even have the right to decide whether to insure my own body??? That's loss of liberty and independence. It's tyranny. What a way to celebrate the 4th.
And before some communist says I haven't paid my "fair share", I've paid approximately 200,000 dollars in taxes since college. That's equivalent to 4 years worth of labor, not for myself, but to fill Master Sam's filthy britches with wads of cash. I've MORE than done my part. It's not my fault they spent money like a teenager with mommy's credit card, and racked-up a $150,000 per home national debt.

All four years. This is a very strange but addictive show. It ended on a cliffhanger, and I can't wait 'til September to see how it continues.
And I just bought some shorts at my former employer JCPenney - man my legs look pale. Anyway.....only 3 dollars! Score.
Finally here's some free episodes of Red Shoe Diaries, starring X-Files' David Duchovny as the narrator. Back when I had one of Penn State's single dorms and was living by myself, I used to watch this show on late-night cable - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103522/episodes#season-4

A few good channels have "joined" my television, but overall I'd call my subchannels "crap". I am getting:
WPVI6-2 - Live Well Network - complete waste of space WGAL8-2 - THIS movie channel - A+. Good. Reminds me of the AMC channel I used to watch when I had cable, albeit more focused on made-for-tv movies. Yesterday they had a Vincent Price marathon that was fun, with more Vincent scheduled this weekend. WPHL17-2 - duplicate :-(
WCAU10-2 - weather radar; waste waste waste WCAU10-3 - NBC Sports - yawn WHP21-2 - MyNetworkTV - yawn
MiND35-2 - lots of pro-big-government propaganda; like MSNBC MiND35-3 - International TV - good stuff from India, Korea, France, Italy; cool. WUVP65-2 - Telefutura - excellente'!
WGTW48-1 preaching WGTW48-2 preaching WGTW48-3 preaching with music (Christian rock) WGTW48-4 preaching in Spanish WGTW48-5 preaching for children (Ned Flanders favorite channel) WGCB49-1 preaching WGCB49-2 preaching - oh for yahweh's sake?!?!?
ION61-1 - 20 hours a day of advertising; yay. QUBO61-2 - okay I admit I like this channel; good for the kids IONLIFE61-3 - good channel but not my style WORSHIP61-4 - preaching! Jeeeebus on a popsicle stick! |

I'm trying to get this blankety-blank Digital television to work. Thanks Congresscritters for ruining reception. I hope they run healtchcare better than they ran this transition.
(copied from another forum) Just a quick sampling of news I've read:
Baltimore-Washington market: Viewers are unable to get stations 7, 9, 11, or 13. The first two are due to their low position on the frequency band... the latter two are due to reduced power assignments (WBAL-11 is only at 5 kilowatts - not much more than a hairdryer). Losing four stations is a major hit - no more ABC, NBC, or CBS.
Los Angeles - Ditto the problems listed above. People can't see channels 7 or 9.
Pittsburgh and Altoona/State College markets - More frustrated viewers. The problem here is the mountainous region which didn't affect analog reception (a fuzzy image is still watchable), but makes digital reception problematic. Customers are staring at a perfect, crystal-clear, blank screen.
Boston - After thousands of complaints, channel 7 restored service on their UHF34 station. Now they are broadcasting two digital stations until they can petition the FCC for a fix.
Philadelphia - Channel 6 is completely unviewable. In one report the station sent an engineer to an old lady's house and after mounting the antenna next to a window, then moving the whole damn TV next to the window, the WPVI engineer was still unable to receive the station. The anchorman commented, "She is frustrated and so are we." |

A certain famous mother took her 14-year-old daughter Willow on a trip to New York State, including a ballgame at Yankees stadium - "One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."
Grrr. |
