Stealing Is Our Profit
by Microsoft
(sung to the theme of MASH)
.

Through electronic net I see
Visions of monopoly,
The pains I can incur are fun,
Better than owning a gun...

That stealing is our profit,
We say screw the little shit
And we can take or leave it as we please.

The game of life is hard to play,
You're going to lose it anyway,
Just give up and do it our way;
So this is all we have to say...

That stealing is our profit,
We say screw the little shit
And we can take or leave it as we please.

The only way to win is cheat
So just bow down because you're beat
And to Microsoft give your cash
Or else you'll face our cruel cruel lash.

That stealing is our profit,
We say screw the little shits
We can take their money as we please.

Democrats think Mao is their favorite philospher Oct. 23rd, 2009 @ 08:17 pm
At first I thought it was just one nutty woman named Anita Dunn (Obama's Communications Director). Well... her plus Van Jones. Two bad eggs in an otherwise decent white house. ----- But now I see people all over the web - Democrats - scrambling to explain why her comment that mass murderer Mao Tse-Tung is her favorite philosopher should be accepted. "It's okay," they say.

Hmmm.

No more Unemployment Oct. 19th, 2009 @ 02:26 pm
"You have reached your annual limit for benefits and will be discontinued. You may reapply 4/01/2010."

What the hell? It's only been six months. Had I known this in advanced I wouldn't have mailed-in that $19,000-plus check to the IRS in April. I would have kept the money for myself.

Deadliest Catch is on Free TV Oct. 4th, 2009 @ 03:10 pm
Cool. It's airing right now on Harrisburg's 21-2, a CBS affiliate. Very first episode. One advantage of this new digital television is now I'm getting a bunch of X-2, X-3, X-4, X-5 subchannels that I never had before. This morning I was watching Histories Mysteries and last night I was watching some detective show from Italy, with topless ladies and all. Later today I'll be watching a cable show called the Dead Zone. Digital television extra channels let me see all kinds of new stuff.

In other news I downloaded an internet usage meter. Based on the last few days it's telling me I will use about 120 gigabyte this month (equivalent to 220 hours of video). It's a good thing Verizon doesn't cap usage else I'd be in trouble, but that still seems a little high. I'm curious to see what the actual measured value will be on October 30.

One final thought - This was the Eastern United States coldest summer since 1927. I guess Carl Sagan was right after all - we are experiencing global cooling.

Obama puts half-a-million farmers out of work Sep. 26th, 2009 @ 11:26 am
His Secretary of the Interior ordered that water irrigation be turned-off to California's valley farmers. Result - approximately one-half million farmers were put out of work. Worse - Now do the food shortage, we'll have to import our fruits, vegetables, and nuts from overseas.

Why was this done? To save a 2-inch long minnow. Apparently fish are more important than starving farmers' children.

I'm starting to suspect Environmentalists... Sep. 23rd, 2009 @ 01:23 pm
...have a lot in common with a religious cult. The more I talk to them, the more I feel I'm engaging in a debate over dogma, rather than logic. Take for example the CFL (compact fluorescent lightbulb) which many of these people treat as if it was Holy Sacred relic (amen hallelujah), and then devolve into insulting me ("You lie!") if I say the CFLs I tried are too dim, or died unexpectedly.

I'm glad there are no stones lying about.

I'm listening to..... Sep. 22nd, 2009 @ 12:02 pm
.....Weird Al Yankovic's "Smells Like Nirvana" - Don't know, don't know, don't know what he's saying...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnuHJZMdako ----- Smells Like Teen Spirit - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXO3OMGKPpw

"Load up on guns; Bring your friends; Its fun to lose; And to pretend; Shes overboard; Myself assured; I know I know; A dirty word"

"Here we are now; Entertain us; A mulatto; An albino; A mosquito; My libido; Yea"

"I forget; Just what it takes; And yet I guess it makes me smile; I found it hard; Its hard to find"

"Oh well, whatever, nevermind"

- Kurt Cobain. 90s Poet(?)
